Christmas Wish List 2015

This post is part of the Friday Five linkup presented by Cynthia, from You Signed Up for What?, Mar, from Mar on the Run, and Courtney, from Eat Pray Run DC.

This time of year, everyone has been thinking about, if not already listed, those gifts they would like to receive for Christmas.  Whether it’s something they need or something they just can’t imagine splurging on for themselves, we all have something we’d like to unwrap this holiday season.  I’m a pretty easy gal to buy for.  I drool over anything running related pretty much all year long, so that’s always a safe bet for me.  But there are a few other items that I’ve been peeping online that would fit the bill quite nicely come Christmas day.   I like to think that I’ve been nice all year long.  I definitely haven’t had the opportunity to be naughty, so that’s working in my favor, right?  Hopefully Santa will surprise me with a little something special this Christmas.  If not, I have a birthday in January that I may be able to fall back on.

Here are the top Five Items on my Christmas Wish List for 2015 (in no particular order)

Pura Vida Bracelets

Wish List PuraVida Bracelet

These handmade friendship bracelets are made in Costa Rica and embody a laid back lifestyle.  This pack was created in collaboration with Rachel Brathen, an internationally renowned yoga instructor. You can check her out on Twitter @rachelbrathen, and on Instagram @yoga_girl. A portion of the proceeds from the purchase of this pack goes toward benefitting the Barncancerfonden Charity, which works towards eradicating childhood cancer through care and support of children and their families.

(At least my gift would come with a donation to a charity.)

Brooks Running Capris

These crops from Brooks.  I love everything about them.  The ombre color, the fit, and the awesome quality that Brooks is synonymous with.

Lululemon Cool Racerback

I already have a half dozen of these racer back tanks, but this hot pink color is just calling my name.  Being in Florida means tank tops are year round, so this is not just another seasonal item.  Not to mention, whenever I take the kids to the parks or anywhere outdoors for that matter, I’m usually wearing my workout wardrobe.  Needless to say, this will get worn until it is worn out.

Chuck Taylors in Eggplant

Wish List Chuck_Taylor_All_Star_Fresh_Colors_-_Converse_US

I’ve been wanting a new pair of non-running kicks for a spell now.  Converse is my all time favorite casual shoe and with all the toenails I’ve been losing lately, I’m thinking it’s a good idea to keep my digits out of view for a while.  These shoes would do the trick very nicely.  And they’re purple.  Nuff Said.

Smashbox Eyeshadow Palette in Full Exposure

Smashbox Full_Exposure_Palette_-_Smashbox___Sephora

What girl wouldn’t want an eyeshadow palette?  I don’t have many shades left from my once heavily stocked train case – I’m a former beauty babe from my pre-motherhood days. However, I’ve somewhat fallen out of the loop with fashion and makeup in favor of spandex and ponytails, but this palette of 14 neutral shades would bring me back up to par, or so I’d like to think.

Have you been naughty or nice this year?

It’s rarely worth reading, but I like to put it out there anyways.

  1. Make up, running pants and bracelets ? Three of my favorite things ! Have you checked out Hipanema bracelets ? Not sure if you can get them in the US, they are pretty big here in Europe. I love mine and always get so many compliments.
