Spartan Up!!! Race Entry Giveaway

Last year, before I found out i was pregnant, I had thought that I would be taking the challenge of running the Spartan Special Ops Sprint here in Tampa.  Well… we all know what happened and why I wasn’t able to attempt it, so I won’t go into any more details about that.  But I will say that I’m pretty excited that in 2015 I get to redeem myself by actually attempting this obstacle course race after all.  Even better yet, I’d like to announce that Spartan has some amazing news about their upcoming season.  

For starters, Spartan has just revealed the 2015 Spartan Annual Pass.  Now those crazy enough to do so, can race any or every spartan, any time, and will receive a handful of perks along the way.

  1. I want to run the Spartan trifecta this year, So i have been training now for 2-3 Months. I have run a Tough Mudder before but was told by a friend that Spartan Races are much more difficult. Looking to challenge myself by losing weight and continuing to run and weight train. 10 lbs down so far with about 30 left to go! Push-ups, Pull-ups, and running!!

  2. I have surrounded myself with two other Spartan runners who dedicated to our training, we hit the gym at 5:30am 5 days a week working on upper body strength. Treadmill and incline running is important too. We will continue our mountain running once the weather warms up a little. Looking forward to chasing my first trifecta this year.

  3. Lots of hill repeats with and without sandbags, trail runs, rock climbing and regular gym workouts. These have worked for me in the past and hope they continue to work this coming season.

  4. I am training for a Spartan race by.running, strength training, fill my backpack up with books and run two miles with it, purchased a homer bucket filled it with sand and walk a lap around the house with it,.

  5. I let my workout routine fall by the way side in 2014 (and gained about 15 pounds as a result) so I have been working on just getting myself back into decent running condition. Three miles doesn’t feel as easy as it used to!
