I love to travel as much as I can. I don’t get to do it half as much as I did before becoming a mother of two, but the urge never goes away. Often times as a runner I get the opportunity to travel and see a new city or destination by racing through the city. This is what us runners like to call a Race-cation. Running marathons while traveling the world can easily be the best thing about being a distance runner. Combining the two is my ultimate goal. One day I hope to run one race in each state and eventually would love to say I’ve run on each continent. Somewhere I’d love to visit and hopefully run in, is Egypt. It looks absolutely beautiful, with all the pyramids and the temples, and it’s so different from other places around the World. If I was to visit, I’d definitely invest in Egypt tour packages to live out the maximum experience. This way I’d be able to see the whole of Egypt with no doubt that I’d miss anything. Another one of my favorites would be Crete, Greece. It looks absolutely stunning and I’d love to take in the views of the beautiful blue sea as I ran. However, Crete’s a big place and I’d love to explore it, but it would be impossible to run everywhere! I’ve already thought this through; I’d rent from a car hire Chania Crete to get me around! I’ve thought of these dreams and fantasies so frequently in my head; it’s only a matter of time until I make this real!
Even though I don’t get to travel abroad right now, I’m constantly finding new ways of exploring my home state of Florida. When you live in a place where folks come to vacation, there’s not a shortage of things to do. Florida is such an amazing place, I’m lucky to call it my home. However, it would be nice to leave here once in a while and explore a different country. Whilst I don’t plan on going abroad just yet, I still have places that I’d love to see in my lifetime. For example, I remember one of my friends visited Turtle Island not too long ago with her partner, and they had complete privacy as only a few couples were on the island with them at the time. My friend said it was an amazing trip, so I’d probably go to Fiji if I ever got the opportunity. However, for now, I’m more focused on exploring the area where I live before jetting off somewhere else.
I hope I can help you find something special or a new destination in my little place on the internet.
