If you’ve been following my blog long enough, you know I love my tunes, but the truth is, I haven’t been listening to as much music during my runs lately because I have been running with my run group. We talk a lot – like A LOT – so I’ve been leaving my iPod at home most mornings in favor of harmless gossip and chit chat.
I still run with my music when I do my speed and tempo runs, especially since I need something to numb my mind and keep my legs moving, but I just haven’t been into the music as much as in the years past.
It’s been a long time since I’ve updated my workout playlists, since October actually when I updated my playlist for the NYC Marathon. But I needed to get some new songs rotating through my iPod in preparation for the Denver marathon coming up next month, so I started playing around and searching for some new material. In the process, I’ve come across some awesome new tunes. You know I couldn’t resists sharing them with you, so here you go.
